Liz Earle: February's Skincare Essentials Regime

Hello ladies,

Well, recently I’ve went a teeny tiny bit Liz Earle daft. After reading rave reviews about her various products, I thought it was about time I took the plunge and invested in some. After all, I felt that I owed it to my skin as I’ve never really had a solid skin care regime and it’s suffered as a result of this.
I’ve been holding off writing about these products for a week or so as I wanted to give them a ‘good run’ first. I purchased the ‘February Skincare Essentials Regime’ for £41 with free P&P from the Liz Earle site. My parcel came within 5 days and I have to say, the products were beautifully packaged! I also received a complimentary 30ml tube of the Hot Cloth Cleanser with a Muslin Cloth (which I gave to my mother). The attention to detail with my order was superb.

The February Skincare Essentials Regime included:

Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser 100ml, with two muslin cloths

"Our plant based cleanser has a two-phase action, phase one is the cleansing. Free from mineral oil, it has a rich and creamy texture and swiftly removes all traces of face and eye make up, even stubborn mascara.
Phase two is the polishing. Polish off the cream using the pure muslin cloth to gently dislodge dead skin cells and help reveal clean, soft and radiant skin. “

You massage one or two pumps of this magical cleanser onto dry skin, you then wet the muslin cloth in warm water, wring it out and gently wipe the cleanser off. Once you have done this, you splash your face with cool clean water.

I have to say I’m VERY impressed with this product, even after just a few days my skin tone appeared more even and clear. My skin felt so silky smooth after one use. I’ve used numerous cleansers which promise you heavenly skin. However none have ever delivered. This one definitely does, its exceeded all my expectations. No wonder its won stacks of awards. I honestly cant say enough about how great I feel this product is.

Instant Boost skin Tonic 200ml Bottle

"This heavenly floral-scented, non-drying toner refreshes, soothes and brightens your skin. Gentle and alcohol-free, it also adds a fine layer of moisture.
Pour onto a cotton wool pad and sweep over face and neck after using Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. Alternatively spritz over face and body to revitalise at any time.
Naturally active ingredients include organic aloe vera to revitalise and soften and calendula, chamomile, cucumber and natural source vitamin E to soothe and refresh the skin.”
Moisten a cotton
wool pad and sweep over your face and neck each morning and night after cleansing.

A really nice toner, leaves my skin feeing refreshed. This costs around £12.25.

Skin Repair Light Moisturise for ombination/Oily 50ml Pump

"This finely balanced blend of naturally active skin-conditioning ingredients includes borage oil (a rich source of the essential fatty acid GLA), echinacea, hops, avocado oil, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) and natural antioxidants beta-carotene and vitamin E to replace lost moisture and help protect your skin, leaving it soft and smooth with a naturally healthy glow.
Massage into face and neck, morning and night, after Instant Boost Skin Tonic.”
This light moisturiser includes Borage and Avocado, its smells divine. It doesn’t leave my skin greasy like most moisturisers do and I haven’t had a problem with dry skin since its first use. I love this moisturiser! It costs £18.25 for the 50ml pump. I shall be repurchasing this again.

Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask 50ml Tube

"Problem: dry, parched and stressed skin.
Solution: this deeply rehydrating ‘moisture’ mask will help to replenish, calm, condition and moisturise skin.
Apply to face and neck and relax for 10-15 minutes.
Naturally active ingredients include St John’s wort to soothe, borage to help lock in moisture and rose scented geranium to help tone and balance.”

I have yet to give this one a go as I’ve been solely focusing on the Cleanser, Tonic and Moisturiser over the last week and a bit. This costs around £12.75. I shall report back once I’ve used it to give you all my verdict.

So overall, I’m in love with Liz Earle. The Cleanser, Tonic and Moisturiser are just what my skin needed. I think I have found my skin care regime for life and am very impressed. Great value for money with fabulous products. My skin has never felt so nourished, suple and clean. The normal retail value is £57.00 based on idividual item prices, so a saving of £17.

Have you tried Liz Earle?
